 Spiderweb Cheesecake

Spiderweb Cheesecake

The trick to this tempting treat is pulling a toothpick through rings of melted chocolate to create the web effect. This no-bake cream cheese pie goes together quickly and tastes delicious, It's fun to serve, too, because it never fails to draw comments.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (.25 ounce) envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate crumb crust
  • 2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a small saucepan, sprinkle gelatin over water; let stand for 1 minute. Heat gelatin; stir until dissolved. Remove from the heat; cool slightly. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Gradually beat in cream, vanilla and gelatin mixture until smooth. Pour into crust.
  2. In a microwave, melt chocolate chips and butter; stir until smooth. Transfer to a heavy-duty resealable bag; cut a small hole in a corner of bag. Pipe a circle of chocolate in center of cheesecake. Pipe evenly spaced thin concentric circles about 1/2 in. apart over filling. Beginning with the center circle, gently pull a toothpick through circles toward outer edge. Wipe toothpicks clean. Repeat to complete web pattern. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting

Adult Halloween Party Ideas and Activities

The days are getting shorter, the moon looms larger in the night sky, there's a chill floating in the wind and ghosts and goblins prowl around every corner.

It's Halloween, that wonderful holiday when kids of all ages dress up and have fun. For the younger monsters, this means roaming the streets, looking to return home with as much sugar-saturated "goodness" as they can carry. For those older apparitions, it means costumed get-togethers wild enough to wake the dead or movie marathons starring the creepiest creatures and scariest psychopaths ever imagined.

Whether you're hosting one of these events or just wanting to spice-up the evening, make your Halloween a complete scream with these deliciously devilish ideas.

A costumed Halloween get-together is a tradition that allows us to recapture some childhood memories and have a thrill in the process. But, what's a party without punch? For those of you who haven't scared-up your own formula, try this recipe for a frighteningly flavorful Witches Brew that will definitely take your guests' breath away. Make an effervescent green beverage by mixing something yellow (Mountain Dew or citrus cooler) with something blue (raspberry punch or Pepsi Blue). Add a bit of "spirit" with 12.5 ounces of Kutskova vodka, possibly the best vodka on the market. Complete the effect by filling clean latex gloves with water and placing them in the freezer. After 30 minutes, peel or cut the glove off the ice and float the "disembodied hands" in the punch. Drop a few activated glow-sticks in the punch bowl to produce a supernatural glow.

Another idea that's guaranteed to turn your costumed celebration into a scream is to serve creepy cocktails. Here are two Halloween themed libations that will definitely turn your party into a howling experience and can be garnished with Gummi worms, spiders, flies or other "bugs."

Black Magic

2 ounces Kutskova vodka                                                                                                          2 ounces espresso                                                                                                                  mix with ice                                                                                                                                add dash of lemon juice                                                                                                      serve with a lime twist

Vampire's Delight

1.5 ounces Kutskova vodka                                                                                                      5 ounces Chambord                                                                                                                    5 ounce raspberry puree                                                                                                            1 ounce cranberry juice                                                                                                          mix in double martini glass

Alternately, what could be more fun and frightening for Halloween night than gathering a few of the "guys and ghouls" to watch some of the greatest horror films ever made? If screenings of "Dracula," "Frankenstein," "Psycho" or "American Werewolf In London" are in your plans, find an equally festive wine to match. Luna di Luna's goblin-green bottled Pinot Bianco/Sauvignon has an "intriguing nose" and tropical fruit flavors that are ideal for this occasion. Also dressed-up perfectly for Halloween is Luna di Luna's phantasm-purple bottled Sangiovese/Merlot: A truly exceptional 70/30 combination of chic Sangiovese and smooth Merlot, it has achieved honors for its exquisite taste and rich velvety aroma. After the wines are finished, the bottles will make for decorative candleholders that add to the eerie ambiance.

A nonalcoholic drink idea that should send a chill up your guests' spines is a frosty beverage called Goblin Goop. For this drink, simply empty a can of orange juice concentrate, 12 ounces of white grape juice, a 2-liter bottle of Sprite and one pint of lemon or lime sherbet into a large punch bowl. After mixing up the ingredients, drizzle in green food coloring and stir to give your concoction a slimy green appearance. This recipe serves six to eight people.

What would a party or movie marathon be without finger foods? Try a creepy little treat called Troll Fingers. For this ghoulish delight you will need two or three chicken breasts cut into jagged strips. Dip the slices in a wash of beaten eggs and whole milk, then batter them in a mixture of flour, breadcrumbs and cayenne pepper. Fry the fingers in olive oil until golden brown. Add "fingernails" made from pitted black olives sliced in half. Serve with Caesar or ranch dressing as a dipping sauce.

In keeping with the things-that-go-bump-in-the-night theme, try serving up Spider Bites. First take two rolls of pre-made dough and make two sets of bread balls, one roughly half the size of your palm and the other set the size of your thumb nail. With a third roll, make a thin snake out of the dough and break it up into little leg sections. Assemble the dough balls and legs into spider shapes with the large ball as the body, small ball as the head and eight leg sections coming out of the center. Before placing the spiders into the oven, glaze the dough with egg yolk and make a half-dollar sized crater in the center of the spider's body with your thumb. Bake the spiders at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes. While the spiders are cooking, make your choice of ham salad, tuna salad, egg salad, crab dip or spinach-artichoke dip. After removing the spiders from the oven, let them cool for 10 minutes and then fill the creation with the salad or dip. This recipe makes enough to serve three to five people.

The spirit of Halloween always brings out the kid in all of us. So, however you decide to celebrate Halloween, remember to serve the most paranormal provisions to your guests and fully capture the essence of this haunted holiday. Just remember to stock up on candy for the wee monsters prowling about.

Adult Halloween Games

Halloween isn’t just for kids. In fact, Halloween is a great time to get all of your best guys and ghouls together for a haunted evening of frightfully fun Halloween games. So if you are hosting a Halloween party this year, these adult Halloween games are sure to be a hit.

Tangled In The Spider's Web

This game is a lot like Twister™, but with a Halloween theme. Here’s a list of what you’ll need:

• a long piece (about 20 feet) of yarn or string per guest different colors preferably
• a kitchen chair
• a white or black helium filled balloon for each guest
• a small prize for each guest

1. Attach one helium filled balloon to the end of each piece of yarn or string.
2. Place a kitchen chair in the center of the room.
3. Weave the loose end of the yarn around, under and through the legs, back and seat of the kitchen chair as well as around other pieces of furniture in the room like sofa’s, tables, etc. Make sure the yarn is good and tangled!
4. Once the yarn is looped and twisted around various pieces of furniture, affix the special prize to the end of the yarn and hide it under or behind the sofa or table so it is hidden from view. A fun alternative to using prizes, is to write silly or embarrassing tasks that the guests must perform onto a card and attach the card to the end of the yarn.
5. To begin the game, have each guest select a balloon.
6. Guests must race to free their balloon from the yarn and then untangle all of the yarn to reach their prize.

It is quite hilarious to see your friends try to untangle their string from the furniture and from each other!

Video Scavenger Hunt

Although being in costume isn't necessary for these adult Halloween games, it certainly adds some extra humor! Here’s what you'll need for this Transylvanian trip around town:

• a pre-determined list of Halloween themes
• a video camera for each team
• costumes - highly recommended

1. Divide guests into teams.
2. Give each team their Halloween theme scavenger hunt list and a video camera to record their hunting efforts.
3. Teams must race around town either by car or on foot and try to find all of the items on the list. Teams must use their video camera to record their findings.
4. The first team to return with recorded proof that they found all of the items wins.
5. Wait until all of the teams have returned and have a group viewing of all of the video taped scavenger hunts.

Here are a few Halloween scavenger hunt ideas to get you started:

• a “blood” red food item (from the local grocery store)
• a broken tombstone
• a classic horror movie character (from the video store)

Use your imagination and create a ghoulishly good list!

Witch Prickling Competition Game

'Witch prickling competition game' is a real easy to play Halloween game for adults. Talking as to how to play 'Witch prickling competition game', below is presented the method:
  • Take a dummy and using felt tip, put a devils mark on it.
  • Now cover the dummy with crepe paper.
  • As and when people come for the Halloween party, give them a pin with their name written on it. Ask them to prick the witch.
  • When everybody is done, remove the crepe paper off the dummy and see as to which person's pin is closest to the devils mark and that person is the winner of the game.

Pumpkin Bowling

This one is fun for any age, really, but adults can have a lot of fun with it.

Partially fill ten 2 liter pop bottles with water to weight them down, then decorate them to fit the theme of your party.

Set them up in the standard 10 pin layout.

Have your guests "bowl" with pumpkins. The smaller gourds usually work best, or at least smaller pumpkins. Round ones tend to roll better but the ones that aren't as perfect make the game a lot more challenging.

Pumpkin Carving

A lot of people have switched to painting pumpkins rather than carving, both for safety and for longer lasting jack-o-lanterns. But carving is still the best in my opinion. There's nothing that says Halloween like the light of a candle flickering through the face of a pumpkin.

You can buy carving kits at most craft and hobby stores around Halloween, with small tools for more detailed carving.

They usually come with stencils as well but for this game you'll probably want to leave it up to your guests to do freestyle.

You can judge the game in several ways - the first to finish their pumpkin, the most creative (in your judgement or the entire group's), the scariest, etc.

LIFT A PUMPKIN TO THE CHIN.

In each pair the partners stand facing each other. They hold a small pumpkin between their bellies. The object is to roll this pumpkin to a chin of the shorter partner by rotatory movements.

PASS THE PUMPKIN

Line up into 2 teams. In each line ladies and gentlemen take their turns. The first person in each team is given a small pumpkin to place under his/her chin. He/she must pass the pumpkin to the next in line but neither may use his/her hands. The players can use all the parts of their bodies to pass the pumpkin but it's forbidden to drop it. The first team to get the pumpkin all the way to the last person is the winner.

DUMMIES. ( While dancing.)
It's a variant of the well-know children game "Day-Night" for grownups. As the music suddenly stops the people who are dancing stand still in the pose they are. The person who cannot keep his/her balance must go out. Last person dancing wins.

SNIPER                                                                                                                                       Fasten the belt on the waist of each player. Tie the string with the apple at its end to it. In front of each player there is a plank with the nails. The object is to pin the apple on the nail without using your hands.

SUMO STRUGGLE                                                                                                                            The players divide into pairs. They hold the balloons between their stomachs. The task of each pair is to burst the balloon between the stomachs.

APPLE OF DISCORD
Each pair holds an apple between their foreheads. The leader gives the commands: "Three steps to the left!", "Three steps to the right!", "Squat!", "Jump!" etc. The pairs fulfill them. If the apple drops, the pair is out.

And there are plenty of children's games that are just as much fun for adults - bobbing for apples, Twister, musical chairs, etc. Don't worry about whether it's a "mature" thing to do - just worry about whether your guests enjoy themselves!

Have a great Halloween!

 Set the Mood- Halloween Style

Halloween Breakfast

Scrambled eggs feel and look much more like brains than cold spaghetti - add a few drops of green, red and blue food coloring as you're beating the eggs and the final product will frighten even the most hardened child. A drop of two of red coloring turn grapefruit sections pale pink making them into very convincing thumbs.

Remember how scary Stephen King's The Shining was? Here's an effect borrowed from the movie that's easy to create in a bathroom, if you happen to have a tile wall opposite the bathroom sink mirror (or some other non-staining, easily cleanable surface). Simply take a cheap red lipstick and scrawl the word REDRUM on the wall. When someone looks up while washing their hands, they will, of course, see the word MURDER.

Q. What do skeletons say before eating?

A. Bone Appetite

For a great outdoor display that gives the effect of glowing faces floating in the dark, hang Jack O' Lanterns at various lengths from plant hangers.

Dried Apple Shrunken Heads for Halloween

These little faces, made from dried apples, can look really nasty and sinister -- the perfect thing to decorate a Halloween party. Tuck them in among the food at your Halloween Buffet. You can also make lots of dried apple heads and string them up like a spooky garland.

Another idea is to make apple dolls. Once dry, insert a strong wire to form a body, add clothes or other

You will need:

apples
whole cloves
a few grains of rice
1/2 C lemon juice
2 tsp. salt

Peel a large apple and coat with mixture of lemon juice and 2 teaspoons of salt to prevent browning. With a potato peeler or small knife carve out eye sockets, a nose, mouth and ears. Don't worry about carving small details as they will be lost when the apple dries. Go for the big features and nature will take care of the rest.

Use whole cloves for eyes and raw rice grains for teeth (the faces also come out looking great without these extra props, just carve and let dry if you want to keep it simple).

Sit apples on a wire rack in a warm, dry place for about 2 weeks. Shape the faces as they shrink and harden. You can speed the drying process a little by drying in an oven set at the lowest temperature. However, the process will still take several days.

Deliver party invitations rolled inside a cardboard tube decorated to look like a "magic wand."

Decorate your room by putting on display a "haunted house" (like a gingerbread house), trimmed with black jelly candies, white cotton-candy cobwebs, and little ceramic gargoyles around the entrance.

Enhance the lighting with votive candles placed in carved-out pumpkins.

Place a crystal ball on each table as a centerpiece and make white "tombstone" place-card holders to show seating arrangement.

Garnish Halloween martinis with three candy corns speared through a toothpick, instead of onions or olives.

Ladle punch from a traditional black cauldron with dry ice for a smoky "graveyard" effect.

Serve roasted and salted pumpkin seeds with drinks instead of peanuts or pretzels.

Serve roasted orange pepper bruschetta and black tapenade appetizers on a Ouija board, or offer cheddar sticks with black or white bean salsa in a carved-out gourd.

Serve squash soup, and use carved-out gourds for serving spoons.

For a ghoulish side dish, fill a carved-out pumpkin with steamed cauliflower combined with a creamy cheese sauce, and use the top of the pumpkin as a lid - when the lid is lifted off for serving, the cauliflower looks like the pumpkin's "brain."

Hire an astrologer or tarot card reader for entertainment.

Fun Stuff

Spread some dried bread and pretzels under a rug. When your guests walk across the rug it will sound like crunching bones underfoot!

Crime Scene

If you want a great effect for a few pennies try this. Using chalk, draw figures in your driveway that look like the figures drawn by police in a crime accident. You can have a friend or relative draw around you while you pose as the victim. You can purchase crime scene tape like that above at party stores.

Spooky Tombstones

You Will Need:
sheets of styrofoam
serrated Knife or keyhole saw, wood burning tool, black acrylic spray paint, silver acrylic spray paint, dark green acrylic spray paint,
hot glue gun (optional)

Use a pencil to mark off the shape of your tombstone on a piece of styrofoam. Use a serrated knife or a keyhole saw to cut out the shape of your tombstone from a sheet of styrofoam. It's a good idea to do this step outside, because it does make a huge mess.

Once you've got a basic shape, it's time to add an epitaph and details. Use a pen or pencil to sketch the design. Don't worry of you make mistakes, the paint will cover them, this guide is just for you. Use the heated wood burning tool to etch the design into the styrofoam. Since the tool instantly melts the foam, this step goes very quickly, almost like writing. The wood burning tool is also useful for making cutout designs.

Take the etched tombstone outside or place on newspaper to protect surrounding surfaces (or both). Take the black acrylic spray paint and heavily go over the areas of the etchings. Once of the etched area have been covered, give the entire surface of the tombstone a light coat of black paint.

Now take the can of silver paint, and holding it at a sideways angle, give the surface of the stone a light, patchy coat. This is what gives the stones their granite-like appearance. Finally, spray on light patches of dark green paint to add the effect of age and moss, as in the finished stones above.

To stand the stones on your lawn, cut two lengths of wire coat hanger wire, about 8 - 12 inches. Carefully push the two pieces of heavy wire into the styrofoam base of the stones, halfway. Push the other half of the wires into soft grass.

Set the Mood

A very large sheet of poster board or sheet metal makes great thunder.

Flap a plastic bag in front of the microphone for the sound of bats.

Uncooked rice poured onto a cookie sheet sounds like rain.

Lighting When you have everything so dimly lit it's a good idea to have some reflective tape over the Exits.

Freeze gummy worms and other wiggly creatures into ice cubes. Float them in your party drinks or make a big splash in a punch bowl.

Carve a pumpkin serving bowl by cutting the top off a medium-sized pumpkin in a jagged design. Remove seeds and fleshy innards. Cut assorted veggies into bite-size servings to fit in your smashing new pumpkin bowl.

For an eerie effect, hang glow-in-the-dark bats from the ceiling and turn out the lights.

Clear out your fireplace and fill with orange and black pillar candles in various shapes and sizes.

Start a group ghost story. Sit in a circle and start a ghost story. Each guest adds on to the story until it reaches its unnatural scary ending!

Fog

Purchase dry ice. It is inexpensive and lots of fun. This emits a cloud of fog in the area and moves whenever someone walks by or the wind blows. To make fog from dry-ice you simply add pieces of dry-ice to very hot water. One gallon of hot water for every 1 - 2 pounds of dry ice is one formula. The smaller the size of dry ice pieces the more fog, the higher temperature of the water the more fog. When the water temperature gets below 40° F, fog production will stop and you will need to change the water. One way to make a very simple dry-ice fog generator is to use a Crock Pot as the heating tank. This works great for placement behind a tree, headstone etc. While this method does work and will extend the time the water stays hot, the heating element in most Crock Pots are not designed to get that hot, so you will still have to replenish you hot water, although not as often. Don't put the ice in the water until it is time for your guests to arrive. The dry ice can usually be purchased locally by finding a ice distributor in the phone book. CAUTION: Be sure to read all warnings that come with your dry ice. KEEP dry ice away from children!

Hints for Halloween Fun

Take a teaspoon or so of black paste for food and stir it into any basic sugar cookie recipe. The dough will turn a rich black that's perfect for making bat cookies.

Regular green food coloring does nice things to Halloween gelatin. Make a bowl of orange gelatin and when it's semi-solid drip several drops of green coloring onto the surface and stir them in gently. They'll swirl into dark demonic tornado clouds - a dab of back whipped cream made by adding more of that black paste to partially whipped cream makes a pleasantly disgusting finishing touch.

Drop a pint of cherry tomatoes into a pot of boiling water, blanch them for a minute and then drain and slip off their skins. Instant
bloody eyeballs.

If you stir baking soda into vinegar, it'll foam right out of the glass. You can also shake salt over a lighted jack o lantern candle and make blue sparks.

_____________

Blood Dripped Glasses

1/4 cup of honey or corn syrup
12 drops of red food coloring

Mix ingredients together well to affect the look of blood dip the rims of your wine goblets into the mixture. Turn glasses upright and let stand to allow the blood mixture to drip down the sides of the glasses.

What's a Halloween Party without Games?

Halloween Ice Toes Party Game.....Use two aluminum cake or pie pans. Place 5 or more marbles in each pan.  Cover with equal amounts of ice cubes in each pan. Two players then remove their shoes and socks and race to try and get the marbles out of each pan using only their toes! No spilling ice or knocking over pan. The first to get all the marbles out of the pan wins. You can also make this a relay by having an adult put the marbles back each time. The Witch's Cauldron ....Sit in a circle. One person begins by saying, "I am the witch, and in my cauldron I put..." and names something ghoulish. The person to the left then repeats what the first person says and adds another item. Continue around the circle adding spooky ingredients as you go. If you forget an item or name it in the wrong order, you're out. The last player in the circle wins.

Mummy Wrap... Divide into groups of 3 or 4. Let each group pick a "victim". Give a roll of toilet to each person in the group. Transform the "victim" into a mummy. Set a time limit of 3 - 5 minutes. Vote for the most ghastly mummy. Spooky Art...Cover a wall or floor in the basement with old newspaper. Give the children fluorescent paint and let them draw Halloween figures on the paper. Then turn off the lights so they can enjoy the eerie effects.
Spider Web Halloween Party Game... In an enclosed area, take numerous, separate and very long pieces of yarn to create a giant spider web. Put a piece of tape on the beginning of each piece and tie a number to the end.  Crisscross the pieces of yarn throughout the room to create a "web." Each child grabs a taped end of yarn and rolls it up until the end is found.
Each number corresponds to a special prize or treat.
Pumpkin Bowling.....Wrap 2-liter bottles with large white handkerchiefs and decorate them to look like spooky ghosts. Fill the bottles with enough water to weigh them down and stand them like skittles in the backyard. Let the kids use small pumpkins to bowl at the "ghosts" and see who knocks over the most.

Mad Scientist Laboratory......Dim the room. Have filled jars of various items and guests guess at what it is in them.

Peeled Grapes  = Eyeballs
Cooked Spaghetti = Intestines
Jello = Liver
Cooked Cauliflower = Brain
Carrots = Fingers
Rubber Glove filled with water and frozen = Hand
Piece of chalk = Teeth

Peanut Game......Give each player a drinking straw and a paper cup. Everyone gathers around a pile of peanuts. Each then sucks through her straw to move peanuts from the pile into her cup. Set a timer for one minute -- the winner is the one with the most peanuts in her cup when the timer rings.

Musical Tombstones....Place fake tombstones on the floor, one for each child minus one. Play some weird Halloween music and get the children to creep around the tombstones acting like zombies. When the music stops playing the children must lay down with his or her head at the top of the tombstone. One will be left out each time, remove a headstone and resume the music and keep playing until only one child is remaining. Witchy Wart.....Find a huge, ugly picture of an old Halloween witch. Hang it on a door or wall. Give each child a stick of gum to chew. Blindfold them and spin them around and have them stick the wad of gum on the witch. The winner is the one who gets the gum "wart" on her nose.

Boo Bingo (ages3-5)

What you'll need:
* plain paper
*candy corn
*pencil or pen
*bowl

How to Play
Prepare Bingo cards ahead of time. Draw a large grid with nine squares. In each square draw a simple Halloween picture: a cat, a bat, a witch's hat, a ghost, a broom, a jack-o-lantern, a spider, a full moon, and a candy corn. Make a bingo card for each player, but vary the order in which you draw the pictures, so that each card is different. Draw an extra set of pictures and cut them apart. Put them in a bowl.

Give everyone a card and some candy corn for markers. Take turns drawing slips from the bowl and calling out the picture. Cover that picture on your card with a candy corn. The first person to get 3 pictures covered (across, up and down or diagonally) yells "Boo!" and is the winner.

Ghost Hunter Game
Game for teams:
Get lollipops, ribbon, paper, tissue paper, and select 5-10 Halloween terms. You may want a styrofoam base to stick the ghosts into during the game.

Divide party guest into Ghost Hunting teams of 3-5 kids per team, the number per team may be based the ages of the kids.

Each team is given clues to find ghosts that can be hidden outside or inside.

Note: Don't place all the ghosts together or the kids will grab the first ghost they see rather than find the ghost you want them. Also, tell them not to untie the ghosts until after the game is over. So send them off to different areas. You'll want 1 ghost per guest or a specified number per team, but have extras so each child gets a ghost.

Each ghost is a lollipop covered with tissue paper, tied with ribbon with a letter written on the ghost. Use a marker a add eyes and a mouth to the ghosts.

Send the kids with clues off to find ghosts. If young children have an adult go with them for safety and to assist if they don't understand the clues.

Example Clues: I live near the large tree in the backyard or At night I come out from under Mr. Wilson's favorite chair. Fun, increase difficult with age.

Each team will return with 3-5 ghosts with letters. The corresponding letters will spell or help spell a mystery word that relates to Halloween. See the 2 versions below:

Young kids: Use words where all the letters are given: bat, witch, cat, hat, broom, ghoul etc... One team at a time, take the letters and mix them up. The Ghost Hunting team whose ghosts are being used get the first try to guess the mystery word. If they guess the word correctly they get a point, if they miss the word the other teams have a chance to get a point. Have them raise their hand if they know the answer, 1 guess per team. If no team guesses the word, then a simple clue is given and the process is repeated until the word is guessed. If there is a tie have a tie-breaker mystery word that is a little harder. Offer a small prize for the winners.

A little harder: In this version the letters on the ghosts only give clues to the mystery Halloween word. Word Examples: pumpkin, headless, horseman, haunted, goblins, Sleepy Hollow, etc... Arrange the letters in correct order leaving spaces for missing letters. The Ghost Hunting team whose ghosts are being used get the first try to guess the mystery word. If they guess the word
correctly they get a point, if they miss the word the other teams have a chance to get a point. Have them raise their hand if they know the answer, 1 guess per team.

If no team guesses the word, then a simple clue is given and the process is repeated until the word is guessed. Again have a tie-breaker word just in case and offer a prize for the victors.
